Approval Process & Final ChecksApproval Process & Final ChecksTo ensure the final product meets your expectations and maintains the quality standards of African Brand Architects, the following approval process will take place:
- Design Submission: Submit your final design files (logo, fonts, colours, artwork) in vector format (preferably AI, EPS, or PDF). Ensure the files are high-resolution and in accordance with our size and colour guidelines.
- Mock-Up Review: Once your design is submitted, we’ll create a mock-up of the customised product for your approval. This will allow you to see how your branding looks on the product before production begins.
- Final Approval: Once you’ve reviewed and approved the mock-up, we’ll proceed with production. Any changes requested after this stage may incur additional fees or delays.
Colour GuidelinesColour GuidelinesTo maintain visual harmony and brand coherence, we recommend using your
brand’s official colour palette when customising our products. However, keep the following in mind:
- Primary Colours: Use no more than 2-3 primary brand colours for customisation. This helps avoid overwhelming the design and keeps the focus on the craftsmanship of the product.
- Example: If your brand uses bold colours, you may want to limit the use of those colours to specific accents or logos rather than covering the entire product.
- Complementary Colours: If your brand has secondary or accent colours, consider using them for smaller elements like stitching, labels, or packaging accents. These colours should complement the main design without clashing with the natural tones of the product.
- Contrast and Visibility: Ensure that your logo and any text are highly visible against the background colour. If you’re using dark tones in your branding, opt for lighter or neutral backgrounds and vice versa.
